How Shipping Works

After approving your quote, you'll select from real-time shipping rates from USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Choose the best balance of cost and speed for your needs.

2. Production & Packaging

Once payment is complete, we print your items and carefully package them with protective materials to ensure safe delivery.

3. Label Generation

When your order is ready to ship, we generate a shipping label and provide you with tracking information via email.

4. Track Your Order

Monitor your shipment in real-time using the tracking number. Most orders arrive within the estimated delivery window.

How Shipping Costs Are Calculated

Shipping costs are calculated in real-time based on:

  • Package weight: Heavier items cost more to ship
  • Package dimensions: Larger boxes may incur dimensional weight charges
  • Destination: Shipping distance affects cost and delivery time
  • Service level: Faster delivery options cost more

You'll see exact shipping costs from all available carriers before completing your order, allowing you to choose the best option for your budget and timeline.

Estimated Delivery Times

Production Time

Small items: 2-5 business days

Large or complex items: 7-10 business days

Production time is separate from shipping time and depends on order complexity and current queue.

Shipping Time

Delivery time starts when your order ships (after production is complete).

Standard ground shipping: 1-5 business days depending on your location and selected carrier.

Example: A small item with 3-day production + USPS Priority Mail (2-day shipping) = approximately 5-7 business days total from order to delivery.

Order Tracking

Stay updated on your order with our tracking features:

  • Email notifications: Receive updates when your order ships and when it's out for delivery
  • Tracking number: Provided via email and visible in your account
  • Real-time updates: Track your package on USPS.com, UPS.com, or FedEx.com
  • Order dashboard: View status and tracking in your My Orders page

Packaging & Protection

We take care to ensure your prints arrive in perfect condition:

  • Sturdy cardboard boxes sized appropriately for your items
  • Bubble wrap and packing materials to prevent damage
  • Fragile labels on packages containing delicate items
  • Special handling for large or intricate prints with extra support structures

Shipping Issues

Lost or Stolen Packages

Once marked as delivered by the carrier, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. We recommend using a secure delivery location or requiring a signature. For packages lost in transit (not delivered), contact us and we'll help file a claim.

Damaged in Shipping

If your items arrive damaged, contact us within 7 days with photos of the packaging and damage. We'll work with the carrier to file a claim and either reprint your items or issue a refund.

Delayed Shipments

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays can occur due to weather, carrier issues, or other circumstances beyond our control. Check tracking for updates or contact the carrier directly.

International Shipping

We currently only ship within the United States. International shipping may be available in the future. Contact sales@nocturneprintlabs.com for special arrangements or bulk international orders.
